The game will give players a character who has a predetermined appearance and personality, and based on their actions, the player will shape the character.Choices the player makes in the game will change the appearance and personality of the character. The game's main focus is to allow players to choose how their character is seen in the world.This will allow some players to be more feared while some are just more respected. Exploration will take place in a mixture of land and sea.Combat will be real-time instead of turn-based and will allow the player to customize weapons. The open world will also be filled with wandering artificial intelligence and, based on the way the player interacts with the AI in the game, the world will change the game's main plot. The game will also allow players to make allegiances with nations based on the path they choose. When the game's designer, Alex Peters, was asked about sword combat he said the player will be able to "attack, parry and counter their enemies" but when asked about ship combat, he replied, "Without giving away anything at this early stage, our approach is vastly different than any other game."

Halo : Reach

The game begins with player character joining Noble Team as a replacement for a fallen comrade. Colonel Holland, the team's commander, sends the Spartans to discover why a relay station on Reach went offline, suspecting damage done by insurgents. Instead of human rebels, Noble Team discovers the Covenant. Soon after, Noble team is deployed to "Sword Base", an installation belonging to the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), for defensive purposes; the scientist Catherine Halsey, mastermind of the SPARTAN-II program and the MJOLNIR powered armor worn by SPARTANs, informs Noble Team that the Covenant at the relay were searching for important information.

As the Covenant arrive on the planet en masse, Noble Team is dispatched on various defensive missions such as assaulting a Covenant ground base and removing fortified Covenant defenses. When a massive super-carrier joins the fight, Jorge and Six infiltrate a smaller ship, intending to dock it with the super-carrier then destroy it with a makeshift bomb. When the detonator malfunctions, Jorge sacrifices himself to destroy the carrier; soon after a larger Covenant fleet arrives to continue the assault. Noble Six regroups with the rest of the team in assisting with the evacuation of the planet, during which Kat is killed by a sniper.

Recalling Noble Team to Sword Base, Halsey shows them an ancient Forerunner artifact that she believes is key to winning the war. Noble Six, Carter, and Emile are entrusted with taking the artificial intelligence Cortana, and the information she carries, to the UNSC ship Pillar of Autumn, while Jun is assigned to evacuate Halsey in a Pelican dropship.

En route to the Autumn's dry dock, Carter became seriously wounded and decides to sacrifices himself and the team's Pelican to destroy a mobile assault platform, and Emile takes control of a coilgun emplacement to defend the Autumn while Captain Jacob Keyes arrives to secure Cortana. Emile is slain by Elites, and Six opts to remain on Reach and take Emile's place at the gun while the Autumn escapes. The game depicts the opening scene of Halo: Combat Evolved, in which Cortana and the Pillar of Autumn discover the franchise's titular Halo ringworld, followed by the credits and a personal message of thanks from Bungie.

The post-credits scene puts the player in control of Noble Six's last stand against overwhelming Covenant forces. Six's shattered helmet is left discarded on the ground in a shot that mirrors the game's opening scene. Over thirty years later, the same helmet rests on the grassy plains of a now-rejuvenated Reach. A narration by Halsey eulogizes Noble Team's sacrifice, which enabled the victory over the Covenant.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit

Need for Speed : Hot Pursuit is a great game. It has an exhilarating sense of speed, clean and beautiful graphics, polished production values, and trackloads of unadulterated fun. In many ways, Need for Speed : Hot Pursuit has that same addictive quality I found in Quake II, Starcraft, and Heroes of Might and Magic. That's pretty celebrated company, but I don't think it's an unfounded categorization. Need for Speed : Hot Pursuit has that same "just one more turn or just one more deathmatch" quality that the other games have. And just like in those games, the action in Need for Speed : Hot Pursuit is so engrossing and rewarding that the next time you come up for air, you'll find that two hours have whizzed by.

While Need for Speed : Hot Pursuit shares an addictive quality with those games, it has something of its own: pure speed. This game is fast and fun. The frame rate is fast and incredibly clean. I've played my fair share of PC and console racers where the pop-up was horrible, as cliffs and buildings would suddenly appear out of thin air, many seconds after you should have seen them on the horizon. Whether it's the smart track design or the beautiful engine, the bottom line is that I only saw one or two instances of minor pop-up. And multiplayer is as fast and fun as the single-player experience. The sound of your revving engine and the fast frame rate both combined to create the illusion of breakneck speeds, although the replays didn't look quite as fast I would have liked.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising chronicles the series of events that resulted in the transformation of Raiden, the protagonist and player character of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, into his cyborg ninja persona, first seen in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.Metal Gear Solid: Rising takes place during a point in the series' chronology at which Raiden has already begun his transformation into cyborg form, albeit with a different and somewhat more cruel appearance from the one seen in Metal Gear Solid 4, and will show how Raiden changes from his "Rising self" into his "MGS4 self." Matsuyama has also hinted that Raiden's past as a child soldier may be elaborated on, and that his personal weaknesses as a human, such as his resolve, will be explored.

While Kimura has been unable to reveal concrete details about the game's plot, teasers have depicted Raiden's body with portions of the body armor missing, and in his Metal Gear Solid 4 armor with sword drawn, crouching on the back of what appears to be Crying Wolf.The E3 2010 trailer depicts Raiden fighting a humanoid enemy equipped with a cybernetic exoskeleton similar to those worn by Metal Gear Solid 4's Beauty and the Beast Corps, which also bleeds the same artificial white blood that Raiden uses. Gameplay sequences also showed him fighting human PMC soldiers.

Matsuyama has stated that one of his goals for Rising is to put a greater emphasis on gameplay while featuring a less complicated story with shorter cutscenes than previous titles. His intent is to provide an experience that will be fully enjoyable to players who have not experienced its prequels or sequel, and so it will function more as a self-contained story and will likely not lead directly into the plot of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Batman: Arkham City

The story for Arkham City takes place one year after the events of Arkham Asylum. Quincy Sharp, former warden of Arkham Asylum, has taken credit for stopping the Joker, and used that notoriety to become mayor of Gotham City. As neither Arkham nor Blackgate Prison are in any condition to hold inmates, Sharp buys out a large section of Gotham's slums and arms the perimeter with mercenaries from a group called Tyger in order to create "Arkham City". The prisoners are brought into Arkham City and given free rein, told only to not attempt escape. To oversee the city, Sharp uses psychiatrist Hugo Strange who appears to have his own secret plans for the city. Batman maintains a vigil over the city, worried that the situation may get out of hand.Part of the setup for "Arkham City" was contained in plans in a hidden room in Sharp's office in Arkham Asylum.

The events of the game are set in motion when Two-Face, seeking to gain status among the inmates and other villains outside the city, devises a plan to publicly execute Catwoman. Batman decides for both the safety of Gotham and of his past romance with Catwoman that he must stop the execution by entering Arkham City himself

Driver: San Francisco

The game takes place a few months after the events of Driv3r. It is revealed that both John Tanner and Charles Jericho survived the shootout in Istanbul. However, in the game's trailer, it is revealed that Jericho is escaping the San Francisco police in a hijacked police truck, causing havoc on the Golden Gate Bridge. After being hit head-on by Jericho, Tanner is taken to a hospital and left into a coma. The game will take place in Tanner's coma dream.

According to the August 2010 issue of Nintendo Power, Driver San Francisco for Nintendo Wii will feature a separate storyline. The storyline will be about Tanner's early years as a police officer. Tanner will be out to avenge the death of his partner by going undercover. The magazine confirms that Tobias Jones, and Solomon Caine will appear in the game.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

The story takes place in the Star Wars fictional universe shortly after the establishment of a tenuous peace between the re-emergent Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, 300 years after the events of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games and more than 3,500 years before the events in the Star Wars films. The Jedi are held responsible for the success of the Sith during the devastating 28 Year long Great Galactic War (which led to the Treaty of Coruscant prior to the Cold War) and thus choose to relocate from Coruscant to Tython, where the Jedi order had initially been founded, to seek guidance from the Force. The Sith control Korriban, where they have re-established a Sith Academy. The game begins as new conflicts arise.

A collaborative effort between BioWare, LucasArts and Dark Horse Comics has resulted in webcomics entitled "Star Wars: The Old Republic: Threat of Peace" and "Star Wars: The Old Republic: Blood of the Empire", the purpose of which is to set up the story as the game opens.

An ancient evil lies dormant within Deepholm, the domain of earth in the Elemental Plane.

Hidden away in a secluded sanctuary, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has
waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against Azeroth and biding his
time until he can reforge the world in molten fire.

Soon, Deathwing the Destroyer will return to Azeroth, and his eruption from
Deepholm will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents. As
the Horde and Alliance race to the epicenter of the cataclysm, the kingdoms of
Azeroth will witness seismic shifts in power, the kindling of a war of the elements, and
the emergence of unlikely heroes who will rise up to protect their scarred and broken
world from utter devastation.

New arenas, new Battlegrounds, new system of "Rated Battlegrounds" for those who want to earn the PvP gear from outside the arenas. We even speak of a function "Reforge, which helps to use the classic Skill Leatherworking / Tailoring / Blacksmithing to change the statistics of the items purchased.
The volcanic cauldron of ideas Blizzard continues to simmer unabated. No details on release date of Cataclysm, though a release in 2010 seems quite likely and judging by the amount of content already announced, the famous software company in California is determined to breathe new life in World of Warcraft. A MMORPG that still seems to be bursting with health and that where it is now does not seem to have trouble ringing five years of success.

Description:
In Civilization V, the player leads a civilization from prehistoric times into the future on a randomly-generated map, achieving one of a number of different victory conditions through research, diplomacy, expansion, economic development, government and military conquest. The game is based on an entirely new game engine with hexagonal tiles instead of the square tiles of earlier games in the series. Many elements from Civilization IV and its expansion packs have been removed or changed, such as religion and espionage. The combat system has been overhauled, removing stacking of military units and enabling cities to defend themselves by firing directly on nearby enemies. In addition, the maps contain computer-controlled city-states as non-player characters that are available for trade, diplomacy and conquest. A civilization's borders also expand more realistically, favoring more productive terrain, and the concept of roads has changed.
